End of Year Email Series

Email #1: Thanksgiving

Subject Line: I Just Want to Thank You...

Hi <<First Name>>,

It’s the time of year when we get to give thanks, and reflect on this year’s blessings.

We are grateful for your faithful support, which is crucial in helping some of the most persecuted people in the world. Because of you, women, children, and families who have been forced from their homes have a safe place to stay, warm meals, and much needed medicine. Families are able to return to their homes and re-start small businesses—providing not only for their themselves, but also for their communities.

Here’s a look at what your support does every day.

<<First Name>>, please accept my sincere gratitude for your generosity throughout the year. I wish you a joyous holiday season.

Grateful,
Charmaine

Email #2: Giving Tuesday

Subject Line: 24 Hours to Celebrate Generosity

Hi <<First Name>>,

As you may know, today is #GivingTuesday. It’s a day we come together to focus on giving the most important gifts—safety, freedom, and livelihood to those most in need.

To commemorate this day of generosity, I invite you to consider giving a gift to Shai Fund today. Your gift will go directly toward the urgent care of children, women, and men who are in desperate need. Your gift brings safety to thousands who are being persecuted for their beliefs. Your gift brings shelter to families forced to flee their homes. Your gift brings job opportunities to communities that have been destroyed during this time of political unrest in the Middle East.

You see, <<First Name>>, your gift is so much more than a charitable donation, it’s a beacon of light, and hope for a better tomorrow for those who need it most.

Make a #GivingTuesday donation today.

Thank you for your generosity,
Charmaine

Email #3: Story of One

Subject Line: "I am grateful for this second chance." - Senaa

Hi <<First Name>>,

I want to share what a difference your gifts, prayers, and support make for people like Senaa.

“I never thought that I would have my salon back… I am so grateful for this second chance!“ — Senaa
Senaa, a widowed mother of three, owned a successful salon and barber shop in the Nineveh Plains, Iraq, before ISIS attacked. With her home and business burned, she fled with her children to a nearby town where they lived in a refugee camp. Always a hard-worker, Senaa returned to her hometown after ISIS was pushed out. She began running the business out of her new residence to help make ends meet and support her children. But she didn’t have the means to open another shop.

Because of your generosity, Shai Fund invested in Senaa—purchasing foundational equipment for her to reopen the salon—allowing her to fully support her family again. The salon also provides for another family of five who assist with running the business.

Senaa’s salon is one of 45+ businesses opened this year because of supporters like you.

There are many more people like Senaa eager to work again to support their families. Your gift restores dignity and provides sustainability for people in need. Give today.

With gratitude,
Charmaine

Email #4: Christmas Eve

Subject Line: Wishing you Christmas blessings

Merry Christmas <<First Name>>!

As we celebrate our Savior’s birth, I want to reach out and thank you for your generosity to children and families living in temporary shelters and refugee camps this Christmas. Thank you for being a part of this special day for them Jenny. I hope you feel their warmth and gratitude from across the globe.
Wishing you and yours a peaceful Christmas,

Charmaine

Email #5: A Few Days before Year End

Subject Line: Your gift means the world to them!

Hi <<First Name>>,

I wanted to remind you that there are just 4 days left to make your year-end tax-deductible donation. Shai Fund is positioned to make YYYY the most impactful year yet, and there is a lot at stake.

With Christian communities in the middle-east on genocide watch, churches and businesses being looted and destroyed, and innocent people fearing for their lives, we want to keep standing alongside them.

Would you consider including Shai Fund in your YYYY year-end giving to keep providing safety, basic needs, and livelihoods to our brothers and sisters?
